Summer Intern Issue

I got an offer for the summer in Phoenix, AZ. I am from NJ and I live in Georgia for law school. Any suggestions for how to procure housing for the summer out there?
Also, am I going to need a car?

NALP has a summer apartment exchange/sublet board on its website.
There's also something fancy called Craigslist that the young whipper-snappers are talking about these days.

You need a car.
Phoenix in summer.
yeah. You need a car, or at the very least a personal environmentally contained suit with A/C.

Craigslist is almost always the best way to go. It's how I've landed summer housing for last summer and the upcoming one.

Any long-lost relatives? Shockingly, one came out of the woodwork and that's how I'm doing my summer housing. I know it is a stretch, but ask your family members.
