Current Emory Student

I am a current Emory Law student and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy it here. I would DEFINITELY recommend it. The other students here are great, and the student body is not very competitive, and I have made some of my best friends since I started law school.

Also, the job prospects out of Emory are pretty good. It is not guaranteed that you will get a big law job, but I would say that a good percentage has big law summer offers (and there are A LOT of opportunities in NYC big law).

Just thought I would share this stuff in case anyone was interested. Good luck in all of your decisions.

Re finding housing

When did you find your place?  Is looking in May/June too late?  Besides the Post where are places people live?

Post (and its ilk) is the last place I would consider living.  I would strongly recommend the Virginia Highlands area.

What is the Emory social scene like, what about the area? Is it a real suburban feel...or is it integrated with ATL?
