Anyone still waiting to hear from schools?

nolegirl - they will be back in the office on Monday, I believe.  You ought to give them a call and just talk to the dean of admissions and tell them of your undying love.  Then say, "I'd really like to plan a visit, too."  Ask straight-up, "does it help my chances to say that I'd definitely matriculate if offered admission...because I would!"

 ;)  Still rooting!

Thanks for the continued support War Eagle!  :-*

I plan to call them. I am also thinking of flying to Birmingham then driving to New Orleans and flying back to Tampa. Whew! Crazy weekend but I think it need to be done. From what I read in my email corrospandances with them, a visit would "help" greatly. Just gotta find the time. I am, for the moment, still living in the real, non-school world.  :(

Just waiting on one school - Hastings. Unfortunately its my top choice, though, and I'll be shelling out $$ to hold a spot at another school in case I don't get in. I'm worried all the spots are gone. They seem to be waitlisting people. When schools waitlist, does that mean there aren't any spots left?

same here (plus a couple of deferrals). i was just looking at lsn trying to see what the results of the past week have been - only a few waitlists so far. wish i had some idea what it means.

Still waiting on UCLA and GW (though I know I'm not accepted at GW as my letter is in the mail).  So basically, UCLA along with my other waitlists.

Though, I'm excited about Emory!!!  :P

I'm waiting on WUSTL and Case which is strange considering WUSTL sent pretty much everything out last week and Case sent a bunch of holds right before that.

I wonder why both schools are just holding onto mine?
