Legal writing question
« on: February 10, 2008, 02:24:45 PM »
I have a silly question - I assumed that all citations are either underlined and italicized, but now I cannot find this rule in the BB.  Am I supposed to do that just like cases or not really?

yes, all citations are either underlined or italicized. The choice is yours of what to do.  I usually italicize them, just cause then I dont have to worry as much with Ids and stuff and if the period is underlined or not since its harder to tell with italics.  Its all up to you though.

On page 4 (B3) of the bluebook at the top of the page is a Bluepages Tip. It talks about italics v. underline.
