Doing criminal background checks on westlaw

So apparantly you can run criminal background checks in all 50 states on Westlaw. We had some fun today in class with this thing.  :D I am sure everyone knows this already though

I did it a while ago, and I'm lazy so I don't want to open up Westlaw and login, but go to public records or something.  However, a lot of stuff is left out.

Be careful though, some things you are probably better off not knowing about your classmates. Not to mention its kind of a massive invasion of privacy. I probably won't even use it anymore because this stuff is really none of my business, we just used it today because we wanted to run through some of our friends.

technically westlaw can charge you for non academic searches.

Law schools get a blanket rate, at least mine does.  If you are billed per use, that really sucks for you.  I thought every student had unlimited use included in tuition.
