I think we have fairly the same classes. a few have different crns but at the same time so I'm not sure:

Looks like my out-of-state tuition waiver was accepted.  Getting excited now.

I went downtown today, got my Panterhcard, marta pass, and all my books (well, I got a few online this morning, but bought the *rest* of them).  For those who need the Neumann book, there are several used at the GSu bookstore, but none at the Georgia Bookstore downt he street. 

I only found cheaper prices on Amazon or half.com for 2 of my books.  The Georgia Bookstore does have a better price than the GSU bookstore ont he Bluebook, plus the GSU store has none in stock.  In total, I'm still under $250 and only have one book left to get (the one form Printshop)

Also, if you have to get the book from Printshop, you have to go online and order a copy.

Speaking of book prices.  If you want to buy the hard cover, big ass black law dictionary, they are MUCH cheaper on Amazon.  Almost, if not quite, 20 dollars.

I got the pocket dictionary from amazon for like $15, too.  Yo, are you buying used books?  If not, then please tell me your secret to such low prices! I bought my tort book for $76 on half.com but all others new are about the same as the bookstore.  Are you guys using the "credit" at the bookstore or out-of-pocket?  I have no funds for books and my Financial Aid hasn't been dispersed, so I don't know if I can use the "credit" yet anyway!!!

Finally, I think casual is good for orientation, but like was said earlier, NOT TOO casual, 'cause we have lunch with faculty, etc.

Can't believe it's only a week away!!!  The nerves are gone, now I'm just really excited.  Especially about seeing all of the cool rolling bags and lunch boxes!

Guys,
I use textbookcompare.com. You can put in the book info and it will search hundreds of sites and show you the cheapestbooks. I save a lot of $$$ buying books this way. Try it! Also, an easy way to compile isbn's, whih makes searching for books way easy is to go to lawbooksforless.com. They compile book lists from law schools all over. You can select your teacher and pull the enitre book list with ISBN's. then take those isbn's to the compare site, plug them in and wallah!

Also, ahs anyone read Bradshaw v. Unity Marine Corp., Inc? Was that not the funniest, craziest, decision ever?

I don't mind the cases, because they'll actually be interesting, I'm sure.  But the law school prep book looks like mindless drivel......
