Too Late for a 2L Summer Associate Job?

Hey, I transferred from a T4 to a T30 school, got on the Law Review, and am now ranked in the top 7%.  Unfortuntely, I missed most of the Fall OCI and things didn't work with the few interviews that I had.  I'm waiting to hear about a government job that I'll probably get, but I really think I should cover all my bases... 

Do you think it's worth it to send a bunch of resumes to midsize and big firms, or should I just focus on small firms at this point?  Any other advice?

Big firms are done for 2L, but I'd participate in 3L OCI, as firms will hire one or two on occasion if people take offers elsewhere, decide to clerk, whatever.

I'd focus on midsized firms, as well as small firms, and see what you get.  Some midsized firms have already hired, but I'd bet many haven't, and small firms are just now starting to figure out what their hiring needs are for this summer.
