3.33 GPA on a B curve to GULC from WCL (American)?

Possible? Not worried about dollars, I've got straight B+'s and am doing pretty well so far. Competed in Mock Trial 1L competition, and I have pretty great EC's and leadership skills.

 I'd really prefer to transfer to GULC because I live about 10 minutes away from there compared to about 60 minutes away from WCL. It's getting unbearably stressful having to schlep out so far, so much time out of my day, having to wait around for shuttles from the metro, or having to walk 35 minutes to Dupont Circle so I can skip being crushed to death on the Green Line going through Gallery Place.

I imagine you have some reason for not mentioning GW in your post, but you should consider it as there are a lot more firms that recruit GW grads than recruit at WCL.

Eh what?  It's a fact.  Something like 180 firms recruit at American and only the top 10-15% get jobs through OCI.  GW has close to 500 firms recruiting and top 1/3 and beyond have the opportunity for Biglaw.

I have a handful of friends that transferred from American and they are all very happy they did so.

i thought WCL had a B+ or 3.3 curve which would mean your about 50% at the moment at least.  i dont know what this means regarding transfer...but i think your in the middle of the class.

GULC was closer, GW isn't bad, but I have to transfer lines twice to get there which in the morning traffic negates much of the time advantage.

You are judging where you are going to go to law school based on transferring metro lines?  When you don't get a job out of WCL you may wish you had dealt with that minor inconvenience lol.

Also, according to that link you are smack in the middle of your class which pretty much rules out transferring to GW or GULC at this point.  Squeeze a few A-'s or A's this semester then try.

Not only judging it based on that, it's just a major concern. Either GW or GULC would be better.
