Currently the highest paying firm (as to starting salary) in the country. Based out of Dallas, also offices in NYC. Only about 30 attorneys at the firm. High billable requirement.

Anyone know anything more about them? Culture, QOL, professional reputation, et cetera...

Miserable hours, miserable people.

But you will get some amazing trial experience very very early.

Minimum Billables = 2400.  Starting Salary = 175k.  I don't know what their bonus structure is, but I think at quite a few firms that start at 160k, if you work 2400 hours you'll be up around 200k - certainly above 175k.  That being said, I don't know what kind of bonus you get there if you hit your 2400.

I'm not sure about the miserable people. I've liked everyone I've met. As for the hours, they don't leave before 8pm. But I've heard a lot of high-paying firms are like that, they just don't readily admit it.

The experience is a big draw for me; as is the opportunity to learn from some of the best commercial litigators in the country.

Anyone heard anything from associates who have left the firm? I've only talked to those who liked it and stayed.
