What to do if no SA position?
« on: August 20, 2007, 10:54:28 PM »
I am beginning to think I will not get an SA position.  What should I do next summer if I do not get one?

It's still early.  Loyola's OCI just started this week and there are avenues outside of OCI too.  But if you don't get a SA position, clearly you should get another job then.  I would also highly recommend externing with a judge, I learned a lot doing that this summer.

What makes you think you won't get an SA position if OCI just started this week?  How many screening interviews did you get?

Umm, do what the majority of law school students do.  Get a job.
