What's the article symbol?  I think you mean the section symbol, which you go to INSERT, SYMBOL, and then find it.  You can set up a hot key for it (mine's atl+s)  ;)

How did you set up that hotkey?

jesus christ, are you kidding me.  when you go to insert symbol, it's pretty clear that you can assign a shortcut key.

just click on insert symbol, scroll onto the one you like.  At the bottom, it says short cut key.  Click on that and assign something.  It helps to put something with S in it, since they look the same.

I looked into this and found that it depends on what program you're using. This doesn't work in One Note.

Have a great weekend!  :-*

what's so bad about briefing cases?

Not a thing

Especially if the professor collects cases at random. Good to have them to outline also. Im briefing all of mine. Better to be overprepared that under

I agree with almost everything you say, but I am confused about the profs collecting your briefs?  They do that at law schools?  My school lets us do whatever the hell we want whenever we want.  We have a guy that showed up maybe 5-10 classes all year, we have others that didn't bring computers to class, and we have about a dozen that opt for the "pass" whenever they are called on.  Its crazy to me that they would collect your briefs.

I agree about being overpreppared and outling though.

THE EASIEST WAY TO GET THE SYMBOL ON WINDOWS IS TO HOLD DOWN THE ALT KEY AND TYPE THE NUMBERS 2 1

WALLAH- YOU HAVE TEH

IF YOU ARE USING A LAPTOP, AND DO NOT HAVE A NUMBER KEYPAD- YOU'LL HAVE TO USE THE FUNCTION KEY (IF YOU HAVE NUMBER KEYPAD ON THE LETTERS)
THE NUMBERS ON THE TOP OF THE KEYPAD DO NOT WORK FOR THIS.  YOU HAVE TO USE THE NUMBER KEYPAD OR ON A LAPTOP THE FUNCTION KEY TO GET YOUR KEYPAD ON YOUR LETTERS.

If you really believe in the article symbol, it's in your heart. It was always in your heart, right next to Santa Clause.

A little birdie just told me this shortcut for OneNote users:

Go to Insert Symbol and select the symbols for section, pi and delta
Copy the section symbol
Go to Tools-AutoCorrect Options
Tell it to replace SS w/ the section symbol and hit OK
Repeat for pi & delta, but use some other combination of letters, like PP or DD

Thanks little birdie!
