General Transfer question: does gpa carry over exactly into the new school?

Or do they somehow take into account the weight of your school's curve vs. theirs, etc...?

you start over at your new school.  You list your old school on your resume with your gpa, then your new school, which you won't have grades for until after you finish your first semester there.
