best cities to work in with law degrees?

So where do u all think the best places to work would be? I dont reall want to work in a huge city so no LA, NYC or Chicago. 

I was thinking Dallas, pheonix, Okc, Tucson, Denver.

What do u all think?

Depends on what kind of law you want to practice, if you want to practice law, and how much you want to make.  Do you have a family? Do you like beaches?  Looking for a nightlife? Everyone has a different best place.

I'm staying home in Philadelphia, PA.  Been here my whole life. I've established my network here since graduating b-school in '98. I have a strong Alumni Network from both U-grad, and L.S. wich I can develop.  I know the area, the issues, the rules.  I'm an insider here.  My father ran for congress in the 70's here.  My brother is a Ward leader in the city.  My Brother in law has political clout in the suburbs. 

I would have to be insane to want to start anywhwre else. I hope to go solo eventually.

I'd do it for the right salary...

i think i want to stay out of the cold. I would make an exception for denver since i like to snowboard and white water raft but after that i think i want somewhere a bit warmer.

San Diego.  Hands down, THE best place to practice anything.. lawyering included.  :)

No place like home sweet home NYC!!! Chicago is a close second!  Great nightlife, plus a alot cheaper!

I enjoy the Baltimore area, although it has a high crime rate and a couple of shady areas. I'm a big fan of DC too.

in the past i always assumed i would want to stay in NY (grew up here, interning here this summer) but now im reconsidering.

i might end up staying in boston b/c my law school is here and i could prob get the best paying job..
