Difficulty in Transferring from Tier 2 school in Midwest to CA schools??

Do you think it would be hard to transfer to a ABA school in California if you did your first year in a Midwest School in tier 2, that's not Chicago???

If you have the grades and class rank to transfer, the location of your school shouldn't be a factor.
