Where are you going Kappa? I went to Case today for a tour. School and immediate surrounding areas looked nice, took a wrong turn into East Cleveland, I was scared. I then went the other direction into Coventry and Shaker Heights and that area was very nice. Downtown was a bit sketchy. The loft apartments look cool online, but the clientel in those areas are not the best. Overall I liked Case, I liked the vibe. My tour guides were very informative. I also spoke with a friend of friend who went to Case for undergrad and raved about it. Waiting to see what other schools come in before I make my decision. Jumped into undergrad as an early decision, didn't weigh other options, and regretted it ever since.
Hey Mjsteg,
It looks like I'll be deciding between Saint Louis Univ and Ohio State. I just received my acceptance OSU, which caught me totally off guard, and now I'm hoping to be able to defer a year and go there. If OSU doesn't grant me a deferral I'll be at SLU.
I agree with you about Case. During my visit I thought it was a great school. I also really liked the students, faculty and staff that I met. It seems like a great environment and it seems like the school goes out of its way to ensure the success of its students.
My only fear was being stuck in Cleveland for three years and possibly more depending on job prospects after I graduate. I like OSU because of it's lower cost and its location in the state's capital. I do think Case is a solid school and will continue to develop a national reputation in the year's to come.
