Hey, I'll also be in town around August 1.  I'm toting the boyfriend along to help with the move, but we'd be happy to help others as well.  I'll be in town from about 7/31 to 8/3ish, and then back to NH to work.  Then I'm driving down closer to orientation, and all my stuff will already be in my apt from my moving early, hurrah.  Anyway, if you need help, I'll be in town, or in anyone wants to do lunch or coffee or something, that would be fun too (or drinks!)

Just signed a lease! 1+ bedroom that accepts pets for $500/mo.  The kicker is I have to mow the lawn (Which my dog will use) and shovel the walk (which I will use).

I'm On the 300 block of N. Hanover just south of the rail tracks as suggested ;D but I'm on the east side :-\... Ahh well my dog will protect me. ;)

Sounds like a lot of people will be here around August 1. I propose getting together for dinner/drinks/whatever the evening of August 3 (Friday). Does that work for most of us?

Ok, perhaps we could have multiple get-togethers (1 on the 3rd, 1 on the 11th). Some of the people who are already here are unfamiliar with the area and don't really know anyone. It may be nice for them if we do something a bit earlier to ease the boredom and loneliness. Plus it seemed like a decent number of people would be in town around the 1st.

Great! Let's plan for August 3rd at 6:00 (is that a good time?). We could meet at the Rustic Tavern on Newville Rd. (I'm guessing most people aren't very familiar with the restaurants in the area, so I'll just pick one and hope everyone likes it  :))

There are lots of great places - I just picked one. We can go to the G-Man on the 11th if you want.
