This is my first post to LSD. I`ll be going to USD for law school this fall.

1) I`m from Santa Rosa, California.
2) I`m set on corporate law.  I majored in business as an undergrad and I plan to work in law related to financial transactions (corporate law).
3) Notre Dame if they take me off their waitlist ("provisional list"). I was accepted at Temple and St. John`s.
4) not sure- maybe constitutional law or property
5) not really, I am traveling in Japan right now. It`s been interesting at times.
6) talking on the phone

For those of you who are on facebook for USD, how do I signup?  I already tried to get a USD email by using the USD ID (that USD sent me) without success.

1) Long Island, NY
2) There's more than one type of law?  ???
(j/k... but, I really have no idea yet.  I'd love to do criminal defense, but only for the innocent, so you can see the issue there.)
3) Miami
4) Haven't thought that far ahead yet
5) Quitting my torturous job! I'm stopping working June 29 and I'll be chillin and exploring San Diego until classes start.  Maybe driving cross-country (from NY to SD) too.
6) Spend time outdoors!  Lifting, running, watch the Yankees, laying by the pool, seeing some Padres' games, beach bumming, drinking, poker, maybe some IM sports

Thanks for your help but that`s not what I was asking.

`For those of you who are on facebook for USD`

I have a facebook account (I opened it a few months ago).  My question was about getting in the USD network on facebook which requires a USD email address.  According to sno, we won`t get a USD email adress until orientation.

BUT I found the `USD Law 2010` group on facebook (which is a facebook global network) and I signed up with that group.

Thanks everybody.

My bad.  Yeah, I misunderstood your question.

You have to wait for the USD email addy to officially join their network.  In the meantime, you can add University of San Diego to your schools.

Hi, I'm Steve,  I was born in Long Beach, I live in San Diego.  I work as a paralegal in family law and criminal law.
I went to USD for my paralegal cert.  I was going to go to USD for law school, but Cal Western offered me a full ride for all three years, plus book stipend, plus a chance to go visit Washington DC and have dinner with the Supreme Court.

SOooo... I took the money and said so long to the concept of prestige and school ranking!

I stick around this forum because there's no one active on the Cal Western one, I suppose people are less excited about Cal West.  If it hadn't been for all the perks, I know I would have picked USD.

I play drums and guitar, and that keeps me pretty occupied.

I didn't join the facebook group since I felt it would be disingenuous to join a USD 2010 when I'm not.  But, I'm not a school partisan type guy, so if anyone wants to get a drink when they get down to SD, let me know.
