I am still debating it . . . nobody has a clear answer.
The RE program is relatively new so it is difficult to judge the reputation of the program. It makes me wonder if UM views this as a cash cow to pad the budget at the law school. But, on the other hand, I also know UM is one of the only school in the country to offer the LLM in estate planning and it is now nationally renown. So maybe UM is trying to establish itself as a leader in niche LLMs that could raise the prestige of the entire school?? Who knows?
