While I have never heard of someone sending a reply letter after getting a rejection letter, does it follow that I shouldn't send an email reply after an email rejection? I'm a 1L and already have a position for this summer but I do plan on contacting these other places for my 2L summer. I've sent out a few replies that say basically, "Thanks for getting back to me, I'll contact you again late summer, earlier fall." Unnecessary? Annoying, even?
