Decent but not great grades at a T14...

I go to Michigan. Pulled off a 3.43 this semester. Class curve is 3.19.

This is not meant to be a show-offy thread. I honestly expected around a 3.0 this semester, and prepared myself for this and set my goals and expectations for employment (including summer employment) around this.

So I'm a bit in the dark as to what this means... are these grades good enough for a summer position at a firm? What should my expectations for employment be (assuming I do similarly this semester?)

This might seem weird but I honestly thought I was one of the dumbest kids in my class before grades came in.. so I don't know exactly what my scores mean.

those grades are very good, congrats. yes, you'll get a good job. i don't know about a 1L firm job, but you'll def do fine during oci, if that's what you're asking.

You reappeared!  I think you are in my large section, but we've never met.  Much of the rest of the UM LSD community has been thriving, and we were always curious why you disappeared from LSD around orientation.  If you are interested, PM me with your name and I will do the same (unless you already know who I am).
