It is worth a shot and definitely not out of the question. I think the LORs are key and you should plan a visit to the law school for a day. Try to meet with the Dean. You will need more than just a paper application and essay in order to make an impression.

I wouldn't admit to this if I were you... it will likely lead to a toss in the instant reject pile.  Also, you seem to have wandered off and gotten lost on the STUDENTS AND GRADUATES board.  Post this on the kiddie board.
pudding is delightful

"Post this on the kiddie board."

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I did post it on prelaw last week and got no responses... I had better luck on this board.

If you got no responses over there, then you're doing something wrong.

What? That doesn't even make sense...

Check for yourself. I posted a message and no one responded.

I have no idea what the chances are w/ your numbers at UB, but you can probably get a better idea from the LSAC website than from a message board like this.  The CHIASU website also gives a good idea of your chances.  Overall, from my experience, the LSAT and GPA were really the 2 main factors that dictated my options.  The soft factors like letters of reference and personal statement really made no difference.
