better grades in the middle of law school

so, im a 2L, first semester had 3.1, second 3.5, this semetsre 3.8.  Median is 3.1, all of the classes are still curved, didnt get a summer associate position, what are my options, i know firms sometimes will look at trends but how if the summer spots are filled and they only hire from there?  i know not all do, but the vast majority...  any similar stories or advice, (not sure on my current rank yet)

Only the biglaw summer spots are filled; many medium sized and most small firms haven't starting hiring yet.
