B average should do it. In fact, if you can get a 3.5 or higher, T14 is probably a real possiblity.

I'd say that to make a lateral transfer, you'd have to be in the top half of your class. All they want to see is that you can pass the bar and pay the tuition.

No one can give you an answer without knowing the schools you want to transfer to.  You might have problems transfering to certain Tier 3 law schools that are not transfer friendly even if you're in the upper half at your high Tier 2 and on the other hand, you might be easily accepted to a lower Tier 2 with the same grades and vice versa. 

Tell us what the schools that you want to transfer to, some of us can give you an accurate estimate.  Don't worry, every year, countless people try to transfer to almost any school (even Tier 3 law schools can receive up to 10 transfers each year and that's not just applicants), we won't be able to identify you.

I'm looking at University of Colorado and University of Denver.  I obviously have a geographical agenda here.  I left Colorado for 1L and would like the option of moving back to finish law school.
I'm going to a T2 ranked about halfway between these two.
