Waiting for an offer
« on: August 23, 2006, 07:57:31 PM »
I clerked at a mid-size law firm this summer and am waiting for an offer.  I know it may take a few more weeks or months, but is there anything else that I should be doing besides waiting and applying to other firms?

I can't think of anything.

It's in committee land now- so focus on other jobs you can apply to until they let you know.  Yes- this will feel like wasted energy if you get hired- but really, you won't care- you'll have a job.  And if you don't get hired it will be a lot easier to pull yourself out of bed or your bottle the next day if you already have laid the groundwork for your continued job search.
