Pretty sure you can still pay tuition with a credit card - I've done it in the past.It appears they accept MC and Discover, but not Visa.

Sure, but how many people actually have one? The # of places that accept AMEX have dropped considerably in the last decade and Discover has been on the opposite path, gaining acceptability almost everywhere. In my opinion from what I've seen, DISC has taken over AMEX's spot as the 3rd place card.
As for how many people have one, more that you would expect I presume
It appears a slight sense of egotism also OWNS several self-proclaimed members of the high end customer market.
First off, I would like everyone to take a moment to realize that getting any useful information out of our financial aid office is almost completely impossible. I'm convinced all the women in that office are trying to be insane, evasive, and unhelpful.
