First off, I would like everyone to take a moment to realize that getting any useful information out of our financial aid office is almost completely impossible. I'm convinced all the women in that office are trying to be insane, evasive, and unhelpful.
You are 100% correct. I just called to see if my EFT form had been received and first was told that an EFT form didn't exist, then that I wasn't a student (she typed my SSN incorrectly when searching). What should have taken no more than 2 minutes was a 10 minute phone call.
I am hoping/praying that perhaps the people I have spoken to have been temps/summer office help. If not, I fear for my sanity when dealing with the office in the future.
