So what's the big @ # ! * i n g deal about Mel Gibson saying this? Where did the freedom of speech go? Mel was drunk, and I'm sure it's not the worst thing you'll ever hear from someone who is drunk. And because he's a Hollywood movie star, that is supposed to make a difference? And even if he was sober, isn't this America with freedom of speech and the like?

If the media wants to denounce him, studios choose not to do business with him, and his wife dumps him that is their perogative.
[...] And by the way, all the Christians of the world, including that f*ck Mel Gibson ought to pray that the Christian holy sites in Jerusalem never get in the hands of any Arabs [...]
Speaking about holy sites in Jerusalem and the like... a very interesting phenomenon is the one called the "Jerusalem syndrome." It is a group of mental phenomena involving the presence of either religiously themed obsessive ideas, delusions or other psychosis-like experiences, that are triggered by, or lead to, a visit to the city of Jerusalem. It is not endemic to one single denomination or religion, but has affected Jews and Christians of many different backgrounds. The best known, although not the most prevalent manifestation of the Jerusalem syndrome, is the phenomenon whereby a person who seems previously balanced and devoid of any signs of psychopathology, becomes psychotic after arriving in Jerusalem. The psychosis is characterized by an intense religious theme and typically resolves to full recovery after a few weeks, or after being removed from the area.
