I'm section 1D.  It looks like we're all sharing the Property, and Con Law I class, and then we divide into smaller sections for the Torts class.

I looked at the course evaluations for these professors: Smith, Power, Wellburn, Bridges.

Ernest Smith, Property.  He tended to get really good grades around the 4.8's.

Olin Wellborn, Torts.  He tended to get good grades around the 4.5's.

Lucas Powe, Con Law I.  He got grades in the 3.8's.  Notably, he got dinged bad (2.7/5.0) on Student Freedom of Expression in a class from this last year.  That's over the entire class, not just individual students.  Most other years he didn't seem to have this issue, though.

Katherine Bridges, LR&W.  She got 3.7's.  This may be low because nobody really likes the LR&W classes.

I think Buel is a winner, too. But I could have been reading the numbers wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

That's the link to the Class Instructor Survey's, Deuce.  Now go find your own section to post in.  ;)

I was working out at the Gables West Avenue the other day (my boyfriend's apartment), and there was just one other lady in there. We started talking, and it turns out her husband went to UT law and was a partner at VE in houston. She said that if i ever get the chance to sign up for a professor to take her husband's friend: Ernest Smith. She said that he is an amazing, fun, and relatively easy teacher. That is coming from one of his friends, but I was still kinda excited when I saw his name on my schedule. (She thought he only taught oil and gas).
Anyway, I think we have that going for us!!

BTW, i am in Group C.

Awesome!

I thought it was so weird that i happened to hear how awesome he was a couple days ago...

I took mental note of his name for next year, but we got lucky i guess.

Bridges LOOKS like she could be kinda tough. haha
