MS WORD QUESTION
« on: July 25, 2006, 11:16:07 AM »
I assume you can do this with ease in OneNote, but does anyone know how to insert a link within a word document that when you click on it, will pop up another word document?  For instance if I typed in a document the phrase, "I like LawSchoolDiscussion.org"  Is there a way that if I clicked on that "Lawschooldiscussion.org" phrase above, it would open another word document that maybe has a paragraph of why i like "lawschooldiscussion.org" I need to to take a fukin word class I'm retarded.

All you have to to is hightlight the text, right click on it and choose "insert hyperlink". The window that pops up will allow you to insert a weblink or a link to another document on your computer. The only thing is, that link (to a file on your computer) wont work if you send it elsewhere. Hope this helps.
