« on: July 17, 2006, 02:01:49 AM »
were you able to take any time off during your stay with the firm?

i have a vacation scheduled for june of next year and am not sure if i will be able to make it given the summer time employment...

will they freak out if i ask for 2 weeks in june during the interview?

Definitely don't bring it up during the interview - same thing goes for splitting.  The only person I know that was able to take such a long chunk of time in the middle of the summer was someone who coincided the vacation with their transition to their second half split.  They finished with Firm A, took two weeks, and then went to firm B.  In the absence of that option, I would just wait until you get offers and then shoot a harmless sounding email to the recruiting coordinators being like "how do yall feel about this possibility ..."
