That's sweet. Having no salary for 3 years is certainly going to hurt my car passion, but I'll manage somehow. I am trying to learn tuning so maybe I could make some money on the side doing it.

Feel free not to answer, but what do y'all drive? (Gotta know my competition  )

Right now I drive a sweet 1998 Honda Accord Dx, no frills, 120,000 miles. Anybody who wants to help me change a timing belt in a month is more than welcome.

I'll be saving my pennies for an M5 someday, but that day is a long ways off.  Who doesn't want 500 horses in a car they can justify getting because it's a sedan, therefore a 'practical' family car.  That's what I tell my wife anyway.

Having driven one (new M5), I can tell you it is worth every penny. The engine sound alone is worth the cost; and it is 507 HP, don't short-change yourself.
