Right.  Margee isn't a gunner, she's a curve blower.  There's a definite difference between the two.  :)

Oh, I'd be a first round pick, but not because I'm a gunner.  It's because I exuberate fantasticisms.

 :D

Edit: I really don't like the idea of giving that guy publicity, but you gotta admit, that phrase is priceless!!

Is it odd that I'm a little dissapointed that I don't fit into any of those stereotypes?  >:(

Actually, I really don't get hung up on the fact that I'm older than anyone else, or that I have grad degrees, etc. -- honestly, I don't. (As an English prof, I insisted my students call me by my first name, and never "professor" or "Dr." or anything like that. And I tried to maintain a "discussion" atmosphere where we were all on the same level -- no lecture, no notions of me as the "provider of answers," etc.) But I do like to discuss and debate, and I do tend to have opinions about everything -- so I'm a little afraid that I'll be perceived as that Old Guy who thinks he knows everything and likes to hear himself talk....

Forgive me?  :-\

Now all they need is a good old-fashioned hazing ritual, and things will be just like in undergrad...

Hmmm, already went through that when I pledged a real fraternity during undergrad ... at least I will be well prepared.
