it'd be amazing to get a 1L position in Austin, but I'm not betting on it.  I'll probably end up taking a class half the summer anyway.

No kidding.  Though I think I might not be too disappointed if I don't get one.  I'll just spend every night on 6th street, doing the things I wish I could have done during the school year.   ;D

true.  I might try to gun for a spot helping a professor do research or something -- i hear they pay (not much, but maybe enough to cover rent or something) and they look good on the resume.

I'm jumping in on the middle of one conversation to go back to something that was said earlier...sorry...

...but I would imagine that the exam questions that look "easy" now will not look "easy" later. If they do, you missed something during the semester, I think.
