I don't remember the link.  It was part of accepting your financial aid package.  You had to have some sort of financial aid counseling, so they ran you through a set of screens talking about it.  I'm pretty sure you had to do that before selecting a lender.

The FinAid CASH website will tell you if you still need to complete it or not.
I just did it - it took about 10-15 min to read everything (because yes, I am the dork that always reads everything)

Anyone have a link to info on UT's student health insurance?

If you're a single student of good health in your 20's, the Student Health Insurance will probably work just fine.  If you're married or have kids, you'll probably want something else.

I've been looking at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and they appear to have some somewhat decent plans for families that don't cost much more than the Student Plan.  I was planning on starting a more earnest search in early July and seeing an agent late July for any questions I end up having.

do we get health insurance with our summer clerkships?

I very highly doubt it.  It typically costs the company too much money to put short-timers onto medical benefits programs.  You should plan on getting an annual health insurance plan for the 2.75 years or so it'll take to graduate.  Maybe if a company likes you and decides to give you work after your first summer you can make a deal whereby you can get insurance through them.  I'd love it if that happens, but its not something I'm planning on actually happening.
