Well we are all going to be lawyers... Has the thought of running for office ever crossed anyone's mind?

You answer first.  Then everyone else.  I've gotta find out whom I need to befriend in law school to become Chief Justice Felsen.  :)

I've considered it even before deciding on Law School.  It just seems like a lot of effort for too little reward.  Maybe once I'm a multi-millionare I can afford to enter politics.  I'd personally rather become a federal judge, though.  Lifetime appointments beat running for office over and over again.

I think I'd rather just retire at 50.  That's the age all of you will actually start workin'.  I say, let your money work for you.  :)

Retiring at 50 would be nice.  I doubt I'll have the money I want by that age, though.  I'm not going the route of having enough money that I can die with $0 in the bank at the end.  I'm hoping to go the route of having enough to live off of 5% interest rates from CDs and Bonds, so I don't have to spend my principal just to live.

I've thought about it. I'm a huge public policy geek. We'll see how much I love private practice...

how sad is it that I get lonely when the boards get quiet at night?

I guess I have to go socialize with real people. :(

Some of us are around.  I'm just normally playing games when I get home from work, so dno't post as much.  I'll check every couple of hours at home instead of every 10 minutes at work.  I've been heading in mornings and leaving early afternoon.  I feel somewhat the same at 7AM when everyone else appears to be sleeping still.  :)

I'm on periodically throughout the day when I get bored. I'm not workign right now -- home for the summer -- but I'll be at a desk for life soon enough.

I thought about it - civic duty, making a difference, and all that.

Then I realized that

1. no one would vote for me (because I would say what I meant and mean what I said)
and
2. I couldn't actually get anything done if I did get elected (I wouldn't trade votes, etc)

OK, I joined the crowd.  My UT E-mail account is now activated, and forwarded to my main e-mail I normally use.  I'm surprised how easy it was to get my chosen name on the first try.

new email address means that he could start a new facebook page

I'm unsure about whether or not I want to go ahead and activate my email....
I think I'll wait for now.
I love procrastinating :D
