Grades-HELP!

One bad grade--is that a deal breaker?  I planned on transferring and my hopes were killed this a.m. when I checked my grades.  A 2.1 in contract-last semester I had a 3.9.  Rest of my grades 3.8, 3.5, 3.4..waiting for one more (torts-hopefully it won't be a disaster).

depending on where you want to transfer - rank SHOULD be more important. I say should as a top 14 school may not be thrilled with even one class that low, but they would hopefully overlook it.  I'm in the same boat - great grades last semester...accepted to GULC...considering other schools, then a C+ comes along a rocks my world (but then I'm at a T3 school, that grade at a better school might not have the same impact).

Four point scale...average gpa 2.3...

The way is looks I should have close to the same GPA I had last semester...3.16 and I was 13/140.
