banking in NYC
« on: May 11, 2006, 04:25:33 PM »
I'm moving to NYC (Queens) on June 1. Any one who is/will be a law student in the city have any banking suggestions? I'm debating Bank of America with Chase. ???

I got Chase when I moved to NYC years ago...because it really does have the most ATM's and branches everywhere.  But, they tend to have higher fees and not great customer service.

I dont have any info on Bank of America, so I dont know how to compare it.  I"ve left my account at Chase mostly b/c I dont wanna deal with teh pain of switching.  But, I dont know if I'd recommend it to a new customer...their online banking isn't as good as other banks (like Citibank) and they've lost deposits of mine 3 times! (Which were always a pain to clear up.)
