I have a success story.  I was originally waitlisted at UCLA and have now finished my first year with a 3.797 GPA, on law review, and externing for a district court judge.  After getting waitlisted I was worried that I wouldn't match up to the other students, but that has definitely not proven to be the case.

wow - congrats!  my doctor has a similar story... she was waitlisted for UCLA medical school - and was then admitted - and did fantastic... not to mention she's a GREAT doctor.

I have almost no chance of getting in at this point - so I'll just have to do well at Pepperdine   ;)
