Don't be fooled: Take-home exams are often much more involved than your typical 3-hour exam. The amount of issues that are in this exam is absolutely maddening, and frightening, given that there is a 15-page limit, and I currently have over 20 pages. This is my first take-home exam, and the only reason we were given one was because my entire class complained about not understanding our professor, and they also complained about the huge amount of material: Over 1,000 pages, which is an insane amount for one class and for part-time students, especially since those who take the class during the day had much less material to study.
