Schools I have a shot at?
« on: May 03, 2006, 04:21:07 PM »
I've been reading a lot of these posts and have some idea of schools that I might be able to transfer to...relevant information:  evening student, 5/79, gpa 3.76, lsat 149, UGPA 2.8, currently at Pace Law (recently moved from T4 to T3)...any suggestions/guidance welcomed.

5th out of 79 in my section (top 6%) - presumably this is what admissions would look at, but the same grades in a FT program at Pace would put me at roughly the same spot

Top 10% can get you into some solid schools.

If you are looking for general NY/New England area, all the T2s would be in reach: Cardozo, St. Johns, Brooklyn. Fordham I feel would be do-able as well. Columbia/NYU are always givens because what the hell do you have to lose?

Georgetown is always a transfer friendly program. Worth the app fee as well.

If you are looking to get out of the NY area, there's plenty out there.
