Google "dell laptop coupons" and you should hit a couple sites that offer $750 coupons if you spend so much. Even though my school and work offered Dell discounts, using a coupon off the internet ended up being cheaper. School and work directed me to a 'special' site where the selection was limited compared to the general public - in addition, some of the deals Dell offered to everyone weren't available thru work - like free upgrade on the drive or memory. My 600M ended up being about $1200 delivered and has held up well being lugged from home to work to school and back everyday.
