Didn't you post this on the Craigslist legal forum?

Realize that your clerkship will benefit you in a year or two when the firms come calling. I still have a few friends with no jobs, and the Career Services people keep telling them "just wait until after the bar". I'm thankful for my job, even if it's not practicing law full-time.

just curious, whats your total loan amount? and 950 a month for how many years?

congrats on the clerkship!  what level are you at?  i am hoping to get a job with a firm who will supplement my clerk's income (if i am lucky enough to get (a) a job, (b) a clerkship).

xpat, you should stop complaining! They have been sending me monthy loan statements for months by now asking me to pay $1,000+ a month while I'm still unemployed! There are people much worse off than you man!

After loans for BS, MS, and JD, mine will be ~$1500 per month for 25 years
