Looking For Somewhere to Live

Looking For Somewhere to Live
« on: April 11, 2006, 12:06:31 PM »

I just thought I'd post here just to see if anyone is looking for a place as well, has a place to rent, or is looking for another person to live with.  Ill be a 1L at Duquesne this fall (coming straight out of college) and live in New Jersey, so its really hard to get out there.  I at first thought I'd just live on campus, but after this email:

Law Students can reside in any of our upper-class residence halls.  These
would be Towers and Vickroy.  Vickroy is full at this time, however.  You
can be added to a waiting list for Vickroy.  The other option is Brottier
Hall, which is the University owned apartment building.  This building is
also full at this time but you can contact them about getting on the waiting
list for that building as well.

So yeah...not much going on there.  I would honestly prefer to live off campus.  I have been off campus for the last 2 years I was in college anyway.  So, if you are looking for a place as well or if you have an extra room drop me an email.

Also if anyone has some recomendations on where to look that would also help me out a ton.

Anyway, hope everyone isn't worrying to much about next year...I know I am!

The commuter services has a web posting of people who are looking for roomates.  A lot of my law school friends found other law students to room with this way.  If you went to Duquesne's website you could find a number for commuter services.
