Unfortunately, it seems that most who subscribe to this board are not interested in practicing any type of public interest or social service law. Personal injury and physician malpractice are lucrative fields- you could also be in-house counsel for a pharmaceutical firm. There is also plenty to be done in patient advocacy and public health (on a nationwide and regional/local level). It is a very interesting area of law that has become more important with the rise in the median age of American patients.
