Will any others be giving up a big scholarship to transfer?

Sup ppl. I'm conflicted about whether to transfer and give up a nice scholarship (20k). I would like to transfer to a school in NYC, but I know that it is highly unlikely if not impossible to receive much money as a transfer student. Is anyone else facing a similar situation? Do you think it will ultimately be worth it?

I will be giving up 1/2 tutition or more.  I'm currently at a T4 and do not want to practice in this area, so for me, it will be well worth it.

Well i'm over here at Santa Clara. I don't mind the idea of working in San Fran or LA, but from what i'v heard this degree travels only so far (which is weird considering that San Fran is like 40 miles away). I want to transfer not because of biglaw, but because nyc is my home and i don't think i'd be happy here. I'm pretty sure i could get into NYLS, Brooklyn, Cordoza, and maybe Fordham (need a bump in grades for this one). I might even try Rutgers Newark, which waitlisted me last year.

I know I would be happy back home, but i'm not sure what career path I want to take. I think i'll be focusing on administrative law dealing with property, land use, etc. or maybe taxation, i like taxes. So, anyway...wish I had a crystal ball.
