Dean's List
« on: February 19, 2006, 05:48:25 PM »
Aloha,

I just found out that I made the Dean's List at DePaul in Chicago, but to be honest... I have mixed feelings as to its worth.  So far, the only tangible benefit I've seen from making the list is that random classmates who I've not said a word to the entire semester come up to me and congratulate me.  I would think that class rank is what employers are concerned with and that a mark signifying dean's list is fluff that says what the gpa has already told the employer.  Am I wrong in thinking the only way in giving this achievement some substance is highlighting it with crayon on my resume?  Any info as to how others are using this on their resume would be nice.
