Syracuse Class of 2009
« on: February 11, 2006, 09:41:21 PM »
I just figured I'd get this started early since it seemed to be helpful to the people last year. I have been accepted and barring some miracles I'm pretty damn sure I'll be attending. I can't visit on the accepted student days because of school, but I'll be visiting during my spring break.(Mar. 6-8) I look forward to getting a dialog started with anybody attending or thinking about it. I'll also post my thoughts when I get back., take care everyone.

Sounds good, I have encountered a few people that are considering it or leaning towards it. Well good luck and maybe I'll be seeing you next fall. If/when you decide it'll be good to compare notes on apartments and whatnot. I plan on doing a big write-up on everything once I return from my trip.

I just went complete today, and they told me that they're using my higher LSAT score for the evaluation, so I'm guessing I'll get in. If I don't get in at the 2 local schools I applied to, then I'll be heavily leaning towards attending Syracuse next fall.

I'd say you have a pretty good shot. They have been waitlisting some qualified applicants recently, see Zim. However your score is very solid, and should maybe even net you some money, which you'll be stealing directly from me, lol! Good luck

I'm sending in my seat deposit and apt. deposit today. I know that I have heard that Slocum isnt super, but it isnt horrible and I want time to adjust. Who knows, I just may like it and stay there all 3 years.

I'm going up on Saturday to check out some apartments, get a local map, and try to get a feel for the city. I can't wait to leave my job and move to Syracuse.
