Can any UGA students tell me how easy it is to get around Athens without a car? What are the busses like? I'm thinking about getting rid of mine to save money during law school.

Pretty easy, actually. It all depends on where you are going to live. There are 2 bus systems that run in Athens, one city bus system and one school bus system. The city bus system runs all over the city at 1 hour intervals, the busses are pretty nice. The school bus system is fantastic, with 9 different routes that cover the entire campus. Depending on how far you live from campus, I would consider this to be a pretty good idea.

Also, I assume you got in to UGA? If so, congrats. I did undergrad there, and the resulting GPA is keeping out of their LS.....
