Anyone considering graduating early?
« on: January 03, 2006, 10:04:11 AM »
I'm a 2L now. If I went to summer school, with a pretty packed fall 2006, I could graduate. Then I'd be eligible for the bar in Feb. If I don't do this, I'm set up for a pretty easy 3L year. Wondering if anyone's considering this, and has any thoughts pro/con.

From a loans perspective, I think I'd save a little, which I like. But not sure if I'd really give myself any other advantages.

I'm looking at ways to extend my stay in school as long as possible.  Never leave.  Stay here where it's safe.

Some people I know do something similar to you but they don't take the Feb bar.  After the Fall semester, they then take a bar review class during that Spring semester and take the June/July (forgot the month) bar.

I'd think that it would be hard to juggle all those units since you are trying to cram them in that last semester and also be ready for the bar.

Well I am, but I will be attending part-time so 'early' for me will be 3 1/2 years instead of 4..

Good points to consider, all. Thanks for that.

Good luck, thejesus. I don't envy part-time students, esp. ones that are working -- the term is most definitely a misnomer.
