Sitting the bar in VA with a DL JD.

Sitting the bar in VA with a DL JD.
« on: December 29, 2005, 07:25:55 AM »
After doing a bit of research into the matter, it does not look as though I'll ever be able to sit the VA bar if I get a dl jd.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?  Can anyone give me pointers into this?

Is it possible to do first year DL and then transfer to a brick and mortar school?  Does anyone have any experience with this???

Thanks!

I dont know of any aba schools that take a transfer from a non aba school.  Even whittier which is on probation requires you to have gone to an aba school.  Most states dont consider non aba schools to be real law schools so your basically stuck in cali and cali makes the bar hard to keep dl people from ever practicing
